Castle Aggregates – RT7R Chosen for Pikeview Quarry Reclamation

It is estimated that nearly half of the limestone used in the construction of Colorado Springs was mined from the Pikeview Quarry that opened in 1903 on the city’s northwest side. On the steep, narrow bench roads of the reclamation site, the Terramac RT6 and RT7R proved to be the ideal choice due to their low ground pressure, hillside stability, and exceptional maneuverability in tight areas.
