The Terramac RT14R made its final appearance in Pennsylvania with dealer, Groff Tractor as part of the unit’s Tow & Show release to the public. Groff Tractor took full advantage of the opportunity to get their hands on the new carrier by hosting not one, but three customer events throughout the state. The RT14R was seen in Lemoyne, State College, and Valencia, Pennsylvania. Each stop proved to be worthwhile as dozens of crawler carrier end users showed up eager to view the new 360 degree rotating unit.
Throughout the events, live demos of the RT14R working alongside other popular construction equipment were taking place. The RT14R was seen in full operation just as it would be on an actual jobsite. “The unit was loaded, rotated, unloaded and challenged with steep inclines. “It was a great way to showcase the RT14R because attendees got to see exactly how the unit would work in conjunction with other jobsite equipment to reduce cycle times on hauling projects,” says Terramac Regional Sales Manager, Jesse Whittaker. Upon viewing the RT14R carrier in action, contractors from numerous industries including utilities, construction and site development were instantly enthralled. Many have already begun planning for how they intend to incorporate the new rotating carrier on upcoming projects.
